INTERNSHIP

Our internship program is simple; it is a way of offering high quality PADI training.

Every year we have the opportunity to take on divers and train them all the way up to the first professional level, which is Divemaster. The only prerequisite is an open water card and the willingness to work and learn.

Not only do you get your PADI Divemaster certification, we'll train you in areas such as Dive Center Operations, equipment maintenance and repair, Dive Boat Operations, Tank Visual Inspection, Air Fills, and Compressor Operation, just to name a few.

It doesn't stop there, you'll even be able to log enough dives on our dive trips out to the beautiful reefs and wrecks of the Grand Bahama Island to meet all of the logged dive requirements of the various certification levels. It all adds up the the real world training experience you need to become a great Instructor and get a great basis for your future in the Scuba Diving Industry.

How does it work?

The program is designed to last approximately 1 month. Sometimes it's little longer depending on the season and when you get started. You'll be working and training at a real world dive center.

Of course with the working internship you will gain so much more. You will be a part of a team and make lasting friendships. You will be trained so much higher then other Rescue / Divemasters, because you will have hands on training, and understand the professional side of the industry. Your training here will go much more in-depth to Equipment, compressors; Navigation… the list goes on. All of which will make you more marketable, should you chose to pursue a career in diving.

After your Month internship, you have the possibility of continuing your Training through one of our Instructor Development Courses, and becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor.

What do you need to do?

• Be available to train or work at the Dive Center in various capacities during the internship.

• Own your own equipment.

• You will need to purchase your own materials such as books.

• You will be responsible for your own PADI fees when you become a Professional as well as your own Professional Liability Insurance.
